Challenge Yourself for Your Health
and support a great cause while you're at it!
We are challenging you to take care of your health through a virtual exercise challenge. During this time we want you (with a team or individually) to walk, wheel, dance, stretch, exercise or otherwise "Move, Groove & Improve" your way to improved mental and physical health!
Everyone knows that exercise is good for our bodies; but it can also boost your mood, improve your sleep, and help you deal with depression, anxiety, stress, and more. World Health Organization recommends 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week (or 30 min a day for 5 days a week). We've set a suggested goal but you can modify this as much as you wish to challenge yourself to be your best and raise money for Camp He Ho Ha.
These minutes for mental and physical health are a commitment to your own well-being. There is no cost to participate in the Move, Groove & Improve challenge. However, team and individuals are encouraged to earn support from friends, family, co-workers and neighbours to raise funds for an organization that champions health and happiness: Camp Health, Hope & Happiness.
What You're Supporting
Every dollar that you raise directly provides opportunity to over 725 individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities each summer to experience 6-days in an all inclusive summer overnight camp, completely barrier free.

All of the care and adaptations that may be required for a person with a disability are provided by the Camp He Ho Ha facility and staff. This includes all personal care, activity adaptations, an accessible environment, and most importantly; love and acceptance. While the camper is safe at Camp, the parent or caregiver also receives much needed respite.
With your support, we are able to:
- Increase access to specialized programs and support for people with disabilities, caregivers, and families in Edmonton area across Alberta
- Develop and deliver adaptive programming to serve Albertans with disabilities
- Connect and strengthen the community of individuals with disabilities
